Introduction and Purpose

Hi, my name is Lauren Greenaway. I am currently a first year University student, studying a Bachelor of Primary Education. I have created this COMM140 Reflective Blog for the purpose of responding to a series of driving questions about technology, and the impact that it has had on our society. There are many opinions on the development of technology, and whether this progression towards more sophisticated and advanced forms of technology has positively or negatively affected our contemporary world. This blog will provide insight particularly into the effect technology has had on primary education. I will talk about current experiences with technology and how these experiences have shaped my learning, and how I believe this will impact my future as a professional teacher. There are a number of topics that I am going to discuss within this blog to fulfil this purpose, including:
